What We Haul Away

Since 2021 we've been a licensed and insured hauling crew, and more than 1,200 Google reviews come from the people we've helped. The calls we get most are for general junk removal, furniture removal and appliance removal. We also handle garage cleanouts, basement cleanouts and storage unit cleanouts, haul construction debris once a remodel wraps up, and take on commercial junk removal for businesses nearby. If something in your home or yard needs to go, give us a call.

About Junk Removal Fairburn

We are a local hauling company that works out of Fairburn. Our days are spent in garages, basements, back porches and side yards, carrying out what people are done with.

We see the same thing over and over. Clutter sits, and the house behind it gets ignored. Boxes against a basement wall trap the moisture that comes with Georgia summers. A garage packed to the rafters means the water heater and breaker panel are hard to reach. Clearing that out is how you keep a house in good shape for the long run, and that is the part of the job we like best.

We keep it simple. We show up when we said we would, give a straight price and leave the space clean.

How We Arrive at a Price

The main thing behind a junk removal price is how much room your load fills in our truck. A handful of other details push it up or down. These are the things we check when we visit.

Once we've seen the load at your home, you get a firm price, and the estimate is free with no obligation. Describe it over the phone and we can give you a rough range first.

Size of the load
More stuff means more truck space. Hauling one recliner is nothing like clearing a whole garage.
How heavy it is
Heavy material such as roofing shingles, tile, concrete or soaked carpet costs more to dump than an equal pile of furniture or cardboard.
Getting to it
Curbside piles go quickly. Stairs, a narrow basement door or a long haul from the back yard take extra time and work.
Items that need extra care
Fridges, freezers and window units contain refrigerant, and mattresses and tires may come with their own disposal fees. We let you know ahead of time which of your items fit that list.
Breaking things down
Certain pieces must be taken apart before they'll come out, such as a sectional, bed frame, play set or old shed. That labor is built into the price you hear before we begin.

What to Expect From Us

Hauling off junk is home maintenance, just like clearing gutters. Once the clutter is out, you can see the house again and take care of it.

You hear the price first
We check the load, name the price and wait for your OK before starting. Upfront pricing, no hidden fees. Change your mind about a few items and we'll lower the price on the spot.
We tell you what we spot
Clearing a pile can uncover a wet patch on the slab, a gnawed box or a stain on the drywall. When we notice something like that, we mention it. Dealing with it now costs less than finding it years later.
Care for floors and door frames
Heavy items get carried, never dragged, and we keep an eye on corners and frames as we head out. Hauling junk should leave you a better house, not a banged-up one.
Good pieces get reused
A couch, table or tool with life left in it goes aside for donation when possible. Scrap metal is recycled. Everything else heads to the right disposal site.
You don't lift a thing
Show us what's going. We bring it out from the attic, the back bedroom, behind the shed or wherever it is.

Questions We Hear Most

What kinds of things do you haul?
Most of what ends up in a house: furniture, mattresses, appliances, electronics, yard waste, old workout gear and boxes of odds and ends. Drywall, flooring and lumber from a project are fine too. Hazardous items like liquid paint, chemicals, fuel and asbestos are off the list. If you're unsure about something, ask and we'll give you a plain answer.
How is the price worked out?
It's mainly based on how much truck space the load takes, plus any heavy pieces or items with a disposal fee. We look at everything in person and give you a firm number before work starts. Pricing is upfront with no hidden fees, so what we quote is what you pay.
Is there a fee for the estimate?
No. On-site estimates are free and carry no obligation. We stop by, look over the items and name a price. If you pass, you don't owe anything.
Do I have to be there?
It helps to be there for the estimate so you can show us what goes and what stays. If everything is already outside, such as a pile next to the driveway, we can often settle it over the phone and you won't need to be home while we load.
Should I bring things out to the curb?
No need. We pick items up right where they sit, whether that's an upstairs bedroom, the attic or the basement. The lifting is on us.
Where does everything end up?
We sort while we load. Furniture and household goods that someone can use go to donation, metal and some appliances go to recycling, and whatever is left goes to a proper disposal site.
How quickly can you get here?
We offer same-day and next-day service, depending on how booked the week is. Give us a call and we'll tell you the first open slot.

How Pickup Day Works

Almost every job follows these four steps. Smaller loads are often done in under an hour.

  1. 1

    Give us a call

Tell us what's going and where it sits, and we'll set a time that fits your day. Same-day and next-day service available.

  2. 2

    We look and quote

The crew arrives, walks through the items with you and gives a price. You're welcome to take a moment to decide.

  3. 3

    We load it up

Once you agree, we carry it all out and load the truck. You don't have to move anything beforehand.

  4. 4

    Sweep and go

We sweep the spot where the pile was and check that nothing you're keeping ended up on the truck. Then it heads to donation, recycling or disposal.
